Financing for
veterinary care.
Highland accepts CareCredit and Scratchpay. Each provider manages its own applications, approvals, and repayment terms. Compare the full offer before choosing a plan.
CareCredit
A health and wellness credit card that can be used for veterinary expenses at participating practices.
- How it works
- Apply through CareCredit. Use of the card is subject to credit approval and available credit.
- What to review
- Interest, fees, and required monthly payments. For deferred-interest offers, read the payoff deadline and interest conditions carefully.
- Before treatment
- Ask which promotional options are available for your purchase. Offers can vary by provider and transaction.
Scratchpay
Veterinary financing with payment-plan offers based on your application and the terms you qualify for.
- How it works
- Find the practice, check available offers, and review the plan before accepting a loan.
- What to review
- Your offered APR, any down payment, payment schedule, total repayment, and late-payment terms.
- Before treatment
- Confirm the amount needed and your approved plan with the clinic. Approval and terms vary by applicant.

A few helpful answers
Payment & financing
questions, answered.
You’re welcome to ask about costs and payment options. We want the next step to feel clear.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service. Discuss your payment method with our team before treatment begins.
Does Highland offer in-house payment plans?
We do not offer in-house billing or installment plans. CareCredit and Scratchpay are separate financing providers, with their own approval and repayment requirements.
Can I get an estimate over the phone?
Call with questions about routine services. Dental and other nonroutine procedures require an exam so an estimate reflects your pet’s needs.
What should I check before choosing financing?
Review interest, fees, any down payment, repayment dates, and the total amount you’ll repay. Check the conditions of any promotional offer and ask the financing provider about terms you do not understand.
How do I get help with online payments?
Call Highland at (812) 867-6651 for help setting up access. The pet-owner login is in the payment access area near the top of this page.
